deviantART has changed a lot since the time I used it most often, both in personal ways and as far as the community goes. Five years ago, three years ago, I checked my messages every day anticipating feedback, comments, concrit, and the next leg of conversation from friends. I'd look through every single deviation from the people I watched. I'd spend hours on here looking at art, tutorials, everything.
I don't know whether it's because of the two-ish years of relative inactivity or because the community itself has changed, but dA really doesn't feel the same any more. It's probably a combination of both. I feel like this place has gotten a lot more negative and I don't really like it. I've learned so much from this community and I would be nowhere without dA, but lately I've found a lot more inspiration and people to learn from in other communities.
So, I guess what I'm trying to say is that I don't think I'll be active on here. I won't delete, but you probably won't hear from me.
